Bringing Balance to Life

A lot of people are aiming to bring balance to their life, as they want to achieve a healthy well-being. However, “balance” may just be a single word which has several meanings. As a matter of fact, when we say “balance”, we are actually looking at different aspects here — most especially when we are referring to life and health. They say that the only way to achieve great health is through eating a “well-balanced diet”, and through regular exercise.

Let’s start with the diet. A balanced diet, for some people, is the one that has a complete set of nutrition that the body needs — such as carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals. While some people regard a balanced diet as a diet that can bring back the balance on our pH level — and this kind of diet is an alkaline diet plan, which is mostly comprised of fresh fruits and vegetable. A balanced pH level can be achieved only through eating foods that are highly alkalizing, as our body’s natural pH is slightly alklaine.

When it comes to regular exercise, we must not only think about physical exercise; as when we talk about “balance”, we should also work on our mind and our spirit as well. Thus, most people who wan to achieve this kind of balanced wellness opt for Yoga.
